That format is great. Especially if you bump the roster size up to 20ish. Can sit on projects/prospects without ever having to drop them to reach the 45 game limit. Very little streaming bc there will be no one on the wire.

Do we want to think about staying with a keeper league to keep the leagues different? I didn't think it was a bad format last year, it sounds like it was just a big change and half the league was ready to move on.
Changing the keeper prices rule with trades would result in more trades. I'm all in either way.

Just wanted to keep it as an option. I'd prefer keeper but will do dynasty if that's what the majority want.

I don't think it's a good idea. I love auctions but to me, a traditional draft is the best way to kick off a dynasty since we are going to be keeping these rosters.
Would y'all be good with doing 16 teams? We have 15 interested. Honk is a returning member so he gets his spot. That would leave Cajunsaints out, but IMO 16 teams would be doable. I would just do 16 or 17 player rosters instead of 20. Knat had mentioned this earlier, making it a large league. I wouldn't want to go more than 16 but think that's a pretty good number and I'm sure we could find one more to play (SFP I'm looking at you).

the one qualm i have is with a 15 team snake draft, we're literally looking at a HUGE swing in value from first rounders. i mean, the 1-3 picks are so much more valuable than the 13-15.

Did you see what toula proposed? What we did in tdba to offset that was do a separate first year player draft.
Example. Say we do 16 man rosters.
We draft 14 players doing a snake.
Then for rounds 15 and 16, we draft 1st year players (lonzo, Fultz, Tatum etc) and it's reverse order of the draft. So let's say that you picked last in the draft. You would pick first in the rookie draft. That kind of evens it out a little. Everyone loved it.
Example. Say we do 16 man rosters.

I love auctions too but they are best left for redraft. Half the teams that butcher their auction won't be back year 2.
That being said, I've been interested in a non-keeper roto auction league (a votto for hoops, if you will) for years now. If someone were to put that together I'd probably play.. i just don't have time to organize it. Thoughts?
