I think that for the good of the league, dynasty format is the way to do it. Rookies make as big of an impact in basketball than they do in any sport, so crappy teams would have that going for them. You would still see trades, but it would be trades for players for the most part.

i like the wheeling and dealing in this league. before we talk about nuking the entire league, we should identify all of the perceived problems first. then see if there is any way to tweak things for a year to combat those issues.

i'm all for enacting "emergency" measures for 2015 and attempting one last go before we nuke.

i think we just need a comprehensive list of all problems first. then we can discuss

If a dynasty league was created and this league remained the same, I would switch over to the dynasty league. I think this league has ran its course and has become pretty amateur hourish

My biggest issues:

1-You can't compete without a massive sell-out. Every champ has sold-out a year or two before winning
2-Draft isn't important once you get stud keepers. You can keep trading your following years picks to upgrade bench.
3-Value of players drops at deadline. Being able to add top 50 players for 5th and 6th rd picks is LULZ.
4-Inactivity of owners once they sell-out. (BJL)
5-Ability to get 3-4 keepable players for a top 10 player.

false.

Like really false.

I agree with this one...and its made worse by the fact the guy giving the player away is sending back 6th and 7th round picks. So a 5th traded for a 6th or 7th and a player is stupid.

I call for him to be booted...officially

the market dictates that IMO

Dynasty league is happening next year, with our without changes in this league.

14 rd draft with 2013-2014 player pool.
Then 2 rd rookie/leftover FA pool draft after. That way the owners who will not have a chance at Lebron/AD/Durant will get first crack at rookies.

All I know is last 3 years.
I sold out then won.
Redd sold out twice in a row before winning.
You sold out two years ago and won this year.

So 5 of the 6 playoff teams this year had a sell-out year in prior two seasons. No denying that bub

I finished in 7th.

I hardly "sold out"

I acquired some picks right before the deadline

I see no downside to this.

Man...you know basketball but you suck at fantasy basketball.

You bring nothing to the table in this league.

You are the epitome of whats wrong with this league actually.

Its nothing personal. You just dont have time for it when you're rubbing elbows with Gavin Degraw and shite.

i think the better way of saying it is that teams are rewarding for not having to tool for the present playoffs. i've always had good teams, and always made the playoffs, but have had to choose between mortgaging my future to try and win in the present.

this is the year that i said, well if i can't win, what's the point of continuing to play? so i sold out and stopped participating in the league for the rest of the year. the rules make that the smart choice.

i'd say decrease keepers as a gut reaction. simple solution. you can't deal 3-4 keepers for 1 guy unless that's your whole new set. this will devalue the #3,4,5 keepers automatically to prevent these types of trades

limit pick trading to the offseason only. from end of season until the draft we can trade picks. outside of that window, no trades

create some regulations and fine owners who do this with monetary fines
