I don't see an issue with his trade. He's trading stud for depth. It's a solid strategy both ways.
You have to look at your team as a whole IMO.
In this league, I think I have good depth except at QB, but that ship has sailed, Kaep or nothing lol. But, I'd like to package some depth for a stud perhaps. Instead what USUALLY happens is a team has 3 studs, but when you look at the overall roster, you pretty much say bleh.

Based on projections he actually made a good trade. I'm just not confident in the NYG offense this year. They have not looked good. It's not as bad of a trade as it seems, though.

You had auctioned before, right? Many of us were new to it, so it's a different beast. I think if the draft was held again or we do the league again next year, we'd be a little wiser.
That said, $35 for Marshall was sick. I had already picked 2 WRs.
