So my league requires you to roster 2 QBs. Only start 1. 6 point passing TDs. No negative points for interceptions.

Am I crazy for wanting to drop one of mine for Trevor Lawrence? He posted a 30 burger against the Texans, which admittedly, aren’t a good team in our scoring. But they’re going to throw a ton and Lawrence has some legit weapons in the passing game.

He’s available in both leagues. My QBs in both leagues:

Tannehill/Burrow
Tannehill/Stafford

I ask this in part because I also have Derrick Henry in one league and Darrell Henderson in the one I have Stafford, which just makes me antsy about having QB/RB shares on the same team. Normally I avoid this but it was just the way the draft fell for me. I always tend to wait for QB. Rest of my team is deep because of it. But should I pick up Lawrence just for the sheer volume?

Trevor is pretty terrible.

When im looking at offensive players, i look for teams that get first downs. Jaguars are low on that list. No penalties for interceptions is nice though.

Yeah well Jameis was pretty terrible as well but that didn’t stop him from having some relevant fantasy years despite the interceptions.

Just based off pure volume and no negative points for interceptions, makes it seem like he’s bound for at least 20 a week.

Is that faith in Tanny/Burrow/Stafford

Or just a lack of it in Lawrence for you?

A little of both. Mainly it's that we've seen the other 3 be successful fantasy QBs. Lawrence has only played the Texans. Tanny had 2 amazing WRs with the supporting running game and can run himself. Burrow has one of the best trios in the league and they throw a ton. Stafford has an offensive genius calling plays for him and has weapons everywhere. Lawrence plays for the Jaguars.

Tannehill and his weapons should be able to get it together.

Can’t hate what Burrow is doing assuming he stays healthy.

I personally think Stafford could have a Top 5 season with McVay. He and Henderson should help each other if one is doing well.

I have Tanny too and wishing I would have doubled up with Stafford like you did. I waited a little longer and took Fields. From everything I'm reading people are expecting Tanny to turn it around. It if we're me I would start the other two until you see some success from the Titans.

I think it’s a matter of time. They have too much talent. I just hate having him and Henry on the same team in case they’re off offensively. Granted, I don’t think it will happen that often.

You gotta like Stafford the most out of all of those options. I think Stafford is gonna be top 10 every week. Prlly finish top 7

I’m in 2 leagues that start 2 QBs

I have Herbert/Stafford/Goff in one league

Wilson/Stafford/Carr in another

Personally I wouldn’t want Lawrence if it’s a league that doesn’t count ints against you then look at Winston, darnold, or Jones

I have Stafford/Lawrence in one league and I'm already considering dropping Lawrence for Winston.
Lawrence has the talent, but if he didn't put up video game numbers against the Texans, he probably won't do it against the rest of the schedule.

But don't trust me. I draft rookies then get impatient with them. Dropped J Jefferson last year before he popped off.

I would drop Stafford for Lawrence.

Also, find a new league. Roster minimums are dumb.

I’d just keep who you have rn tbh. Lawrence IMO is going to be a bust

Jameis had one terrible year. IMO, Jameis can be a top 5 QB under Sean Payton. He actually has some protection..

But as for as the Lawrence thing, they are bad. He will have some games where he will put up big numbers but he isn't going to be consistent.
