They are all in the same tier, really

Right. I agree, which is why I’m trying to have two of them separate from the pack for my picks at 19 and 20 in our upcoming draft.

I have my opinions and know the two I’d take if the draft were today, but I wanna hear some other opinions.

Anybody else willing to take Michael Carter around the end of round 1? 10-12 range

I'm picking 10th next weekend in a 14-team non-snake draft league (24 player rosters)...and am expecting to choose between Michael Carter, Waddle, Marshall and whichever of the QBs aren't picked.

My QBs are Mahomes and Cousins
My top WRs are DHop, Tyreek and J.Jefferson
My RBs suck (Gordon is my RB1).

Anyway...toying with the idea of taking the top-ranked QB if Sermon doesn't fall to me and get a young QB in behind Cousins. But....Michael Carter would be my other choice.

Also, you all probably saw but Etienne is working exclusively at WR during rookie minicamp and then will move back to RB when the vets arrive. As a member of the PPR crowd, that got my attention.

Palmer didn’t put up the college stats, but he has the draft capital. Mike Williams may not be in LAC next season.. and Allen isn’t getting any younger

I would go Brown and Palmer

Also swerve, someone just traded for the 1.02 and is taking Pitts so Harris falls to me at 1.03

Because of Jarrett Guarantano. Palmer is better than his college production.

We are in a 10 team PPR going into year 3. I’ve traded away lots of old WR talent for 1st round picks. I’ve got 2nd, 3rd and 6th picks in 1st round
40 player roster
Top at each position (I know I’m really weak at RB)
QB
Russel Wilson, Herbert
RB
Aaron Jones l, Zach Moss, and James White
WR
Diggs, McLaurin, Woods, Higgins, JuJu,
TE
Henry and Tonyan

Who should I target with 1.02,1.03, and 1.06

I am in a draft right now (it takes forever...you have 24 hours to make your pick).

Javonte Williams went 1.02
Etienne went 1.03
Pitts went 1.06

I'd say those players would fit nicely into your team. Chase went 1.05 so there is a chance he could be there at 1.06.

BTW, I am about to be on the clock at 1.10 and may have to choose between Sermon and Michael Carter unless 1.09 takes one of them.

The only other guy I would consider is Fields but I already have Mahomes and Cousins.

Thanks I appreciate it. Ours is 24 hour as well. That’s a tough choice. I like Sermon if he’ll stay healthy

Which pick did you get Sermon? I have 1.10 and will be picking between the usual guys. Lawrence, Bateman, Marshall, Sermon.

I got him at 1.10.

I also made a deal for 2.02 and picked Michael Carter. I traded 2.10, flipped 3rd rounders (3.10 and 3.13) and my 2nd rounder next year. I know things can change but next year is looking to be very defense/OL heavy...I can also recoup the 2nd rounder via trade if someone gets desperate this year for one of my backups. It tends to happen...

Here are the results of the first 2 rounds of our (non-snake) draft that is still going on...

1.01 Harris, Najee PIT RB (R)
1.02 Williams, Javonte DEN RB (R)
1.03 Etienne, Travis JAC RB (R)
1.04 Lawrence, Trevor JAC QB (R)
1.05 Chase, Ja'Marr CIN WR (R)
1.06 Pitts, Kyle ATL TE (R)
1.07 Lance, Trey SFO QB (R)
1.08 Smith, DeVonta PHI WR (R)
1.09 Waddle, Jaylen MIA WR (R)
1.10 Sermon, Trey SFO RB (R)
1.11 Fields, Justin CHI QB (R)
1.12 Moore, Elijah NYJ WR (R)
1.13 Wilson, Zach NYJ QB (R)
1.14 Moore, Rondale ARI WR (R)

2.01 Toney, Kadarius NYG WR (R)
2.02 Carter, Michael NYJ RB (R)
2.03 St. Brown, Amon-Ra DET WR (R)
2.04 Bateman, Rashod BAL WR (R)
2.05 Marshall, Terrace CAR WR (R)
2.06 Jones, Mac NEP QB (R)
2.07 Brown, Dyami WAS WR (R)
2.08 Gainwell, Kenneth PHI RB (R)
2.09 Hubbard, Chuba CAR RB (R)
2.10 Stevenson, Rhamondre NEP RB (R)
2.11 Collins, Nico HOU WR (R)
2.12 Rodgers, Amari GBP WR (R)
2.13 Palmer, Josh LAC WR (R)
2.14 Eskridge, D'Wayne SEA WR (R)

Another note - Jeff Wilson tore up his knee and is out a few months. Sermon has one less vet in front of him...

I had picks 1.10 and 2.3 and was hoping Sermon would be there. Someone nabbed him at 1.07. Screwed up my whole draft. I took E. Moore then Marshall. Moore could be special. Too bad he’s on the Jets and has so many players in front of him

I don't think Crowder will be on their opening day roster. I think they will look to trade him and there are several contenders who would want him.

My updated rankings. I have a draft starting Tuesday. I have 1.01. I'm going Harris because of a need at RB. I also have 1.10.

1a. Harris
1b. Chase
3. Etienne
4. Pitts
5. Williams
6. Smith
7. Waddle
8. Lawrence (sure thing)
9. Marshall
10. Bateman
11. Sermon
12. Elijah Moore
13. Lance
14. Carter
15. Rondale Moore
16. Fields
17. Toney
18. Zack Wilson

Tough decision at 10 could get the steal of the draft of totally wiff. Kinda hoping Lawrence is there.

Had a rookie draft earlier this week. I had picks 5 (via earlier offseason trade) and 12, which I later packaged with 2022 2nd and 2022 4th to move up to 8. I ended up with Smith and Sermon. The same guy had the first two picks in this draft so order of those two didn't matter. First round results:

Chase
Harris
Williams
Pitts
Smith
Etienne
Waddle
Sermon
Carter
Bateman
Lawrence
R. Moore
