Start L Fournette or Tarik Cohen?

Fournette is obviously the better back but Cohen goes against a soft Packers D? Who do you start?

You don't deserve an answer

You should go with the guaranteed touches of the workhorse. Fournette is the play.

Points this year in PPR.
LF 52.5
TC 52.3
But it's so outrageous to ask the question who to start?

PPR Cohen has outscored Fournette. Bears go on the road as 7 point dogs, game script suits Cohen.

Yes. We don't live in a vacuum

No we live in the real world where Cohen leads the league in targets and receptions for a RB

Would you trade Fournette for Cohen right now?

That's not the question. Would I start Cohen over him this week? Yes. Both are RB2's. Not like he's asking Cohen or LevBell even though Cohen has outscored Bell.

The question is who to start, not trade though. Who to start has a lot to do with matchup. I didn't find it to be an outrageous question. I just like the guaranteed touches.

You're equating their 3 weeks in a vacuum so it would be a fair leap to think that their value would hold the same in a vacuum over the long run.
Fournette has faced 3 top defenses and produced in all of them. I'll go with that cat all day over the guy in a committee. And you're talking to a guy who spent 350 dollars on Cohen

Jets stuffed Ajayi. Cohen is a nice play. Bears should be playing from behind most of the night.

It's a good matchup for both players. I'd play both if it was an option at all. Both run defenses are below average and GB is 2nd worst in the league to receivers out of the backfield. Cohen should have a good game, barring an unforeseen circumstance where Chicago is actually in the game down the stretch. Jet's may have stopped Ajayi, but they also stopped Landry and Parker and they still rank in the bottom 3rd of both pass and run defense. It's a win/win IMO and I'd roll both of them out. If I HAD to pick, I'd go Fournette because he's the "safer" play, in my book, due to volume alone.
