Did y’all negotiate this trade in a group chat?

If so, what was everyone’s reactions while this was going on?

How much is the buy in for this league?

There should be no vetos except for collusion.

This is textbook collusion.

Collusion is frowned upon, even if it seems to make sense.

Who is the commissioner?

Y’all need a veto rule and trade deadline date.

I mean you are literally describing collusion dude

But if you dont want it to be collusion, what would happen if you didn’t have an agreement and you just don’t trade him back at all?

What they should do is trade all the good players from the underperforming team to the good team making the playoffs and agree to split the winnings after the season.

It’s helps both owners, so that should be cool with the rest of the league.

You obviously don't know what collusion is. Google might help with that.

The trade would be blocked (not vetoed, but blocked) in my league and the participants would be automatically kicked out. I'm in a work league and when we've had cheaters kicked out in the past, they didn't stay with the firm very long after. Not saying it was the cause, but it happened each time. No one wants to work with a cheater. No one wants to play with a cheater.

Yes we negotiated in group chat. People were annoyed but agreed it doesn’t violate any rule.

Buy in is 500

Pretty sure if your commissioner doesn’t resolve this then there won’t be a league next year. I would be done with that league after that BS

You’re gonna completely frick over a whole league while the buy in is $500??

Dude read the room. You and the other guy are completely wrong here. I’d be throwing a fricking FIT if I were in your league

What y’all are doing or trying to do is completely unfair to everybody else.. How can you not see this?

So basically he is giving you the #1 RB, #1 TE, and top 10 WR for 5 weeks so you can get the the playoffs.

Then you give him back Kelce and metcalf and then Barkley for ekeler.

What if Barkley gets hurt is he still gonna be like ya you keep ekeler.

No way I’d play in a league that rents players between teams to help them get to the playoffs

This is collusion. It should not be allowed and both kicked out of the league and forfeit your buy ins.

Playing devils advocate here. I do think it’s bullshite. But this is an important point. What if injuries happen to the players that are going to get returned?

Again, playing devils advocate. But what’s stopping others on the league from doing the same type of thing? If they are allowing it because it’s not explicitly stated that they can’t, others can do the same.
There’s gotta be another team at the top and another team at the bottom. What if they made a similar agreement? Yea then your league turns to shite, but someone else can try to prevent this from working for the team at the top.

look at all the mental gymnastics you had to do just now to try to make this sound even close to being legit

There’s not going to be anything in the official fantasy football rulebook about this, but come on. At some point common sense needs to kick in. This is bush league
