look at all the mental gymnastics you had to do just now to try to make this sound even close to being legit

It’s not mental gymnastics. Another pair of plahers at the top and bottom can just do the same thing and try to mess up the other two’s plan.

There’s not going to be anything in the official fantasy football rulebook about this, but come on.

It could easily been worked into the rules to not allow this.
Trade deadlines.
Transaction limits in a certain time period
Restrictions on if you can maintain a keeper after a certain amount of transactions or back to the same team.
Easily can be fixed with rules. But this league doesn’t specify this scenario. So let others do the same and try to frick these two’s plan.

What’s your reaction going to be if you wake up tomorrow and realize that the league vetoed your trade?

No it’s not. No one makes this trade in a high stakes league

This is a free league or like a $20 league

I wouldn't be playing in a league with either of you moving forward.

This is a troll

The proposed trade doesn’t even make sense. “Renting” those players for weeks just to swap the two top 5 backs? Going out of his way to help a good 3-5 team get into the playoffs? There’s zero upside to the 7-1 team.

Add in that this trade was supposedly negotiated in the the group chat, other players aren’t pitching a fit, and there’s no vetos (not even commish vetos?)…yea, it’s a fabrication
