Or Alvin Kamara

10 team standard league.

I also have Leveon Bell and Josh Gordon. One option would be to keep Josh Gordon knowing I will have one of the top two picks and getting either Gurley or Kamara. That scenario depends on where JG is ranked preseason and who the other teams in the league keep.

UPDATE: I kept Gurley. Just less question marks with him at this point in his career vs where Kamara is. Still think Kamara will be great

Any compensation involved with keeping the players?

How many can you keep?

Knowing nothing else, here is the order I would keep them. I would keep as many as possible regardless of cost. The first three are all obvious first rounders.

Gurley
Bell
Kamara
Gordon

Why? Bell was a top 3 pick going into last year, Gurley was going late first to mid second round and Kamara was a late-round pick in most leagues I was in.

Now by the end of the year, it just wasn't fair as he was probably getting 60+ points from those 3 players a week.

Can keep one player from last year's roster. Our manager compiles a ranking based on ESPN and Yahoo's rankings and whoever keeps the highest ranked player gets the last pick of the draft, and so on.

It happens every year, but rarely does the same person wind up with a hat trick of studs like this.

Do you know who everyone is keeping and are you certain Gordon will be lowest? If so he’s a no brainer

No to both questions. My thinking is I will go that route if it works out. Still don't know who I would keep between Gurley and Kamara though. I'm a Saints fan, so if I pass on Kamara and he's a stud for the foreseeable future, it will be slightly painful watching him dominate every week.

Im a huge Saints homer, but you gotta keep Gurley.

Edit: I drafted Gurley in his first year and kept him for the 2nd year and he sucked and then I let him go like an idiot. Dont make the same mistake I made. You cant go wrong either one theoretically, but Gurley is THE GUY in LA. Kamara is only ONE of the guys in NOLA imo. Both will produce, but Gurley is a goaline guy and then all the things Kamara is fantasy wise.

Edit 2 reading more into it.... How in the fricking frick did you have Gurley, Bell, and Kamara? Are you in a league with idiots? (cheers to you)

I have those thoughts sometimes as a saints fan to if Id rather my guy vs another guy that COULD be equal, but Gurley is the best RB in the league IMHO.

But there are variables that im unfamiliar with. Id pick Bell above Gurley if its PPR. If its not PPR, Gurley all day.

But frick man... you should be happy with either one of those 3. Its a crying shame to your opponents that you have the choice out of those 3. The question should be about Gurley vs Bell. And thats no hate on Kamara. Its just that those other 2 guys are top 3 picks in most leagues. Kamara will be late first round in 10/12 team leagues.

If he kept Bell previously this isn’t difficult at all.

Gurley went in the late second round in ALOT of leagues last year. Say he picked third, the two guys above him went AB and David Johnson, he then picks Bell. Gurley likely would have lasted until the turn in the second round. After a pedestrian sophomore year, no one was THAT high on Gurley, especially with McVay at the helm.

Kamara was another pick that went late, late. Very plausible he ended up with all three.

ETA: As a huge Saints homer and Kamara admirer, I’d still go Gurley. More touches and volume than Kamara, although both are really good

It wouldn’t have been hard in a redraft league with 10 teams either so long as he picked in the first three picks
