I don't see how it's luck.
You are still playing with major league players who you drafted. They aren't going to play any different in real life. At the end of the year, the players numbers are the same in roto and h2h leagues, regardless.
Like I said before, if you are so experienced, read the fricking rules before you draft and quit using it as an excuse.

another tough guy, fantasy snob...
it's not an excuse...it's reality...i drafted a million pitchers in arow for the last several rounds..if i had drafted from the pool of remaining hitters instead, i would have a better team..thats reality..
and roto is much more accurate than head to head...that is common knowledge

this is a retarded argument..in fact, i cant even tell what you are trying to say..
it's easy to understand..team 1 scores the most points in the cats for the whole year in h2h, no for sure win...team 1 scores the most points in said cats in roto, team wins the league..that teams standings does not depend on whatever random team it plays on any given week..

but the points(record) are not addded up at the end of the year in h2h, thats my point..what stats a players has at the end of the year, is what matters...esp. in baseball

dude, the good teams are going to rise in this league, trust me.
it's not goin to be the crap shoot you think it is.
and the daily lineups and pitching match-ups are what make it fun and competitive.
roto gets stale after the first few weeks.
no one is really coming off as a fantasy snob
i know you are defending yourself, but i think you are kind of oblivious to how you are coming off with the things you are typing here these last few pages. slightly cocky and arrogant with a hint of whininess. not that it bothers me much. i talk a lot of shite myself.
but that is why people are on your case.

i played in a h2h football league last year..i finished 1st in points scored.(best team),
i don't like H2H leagues based on points anymore
H2H 8x8 (or more) is pretty good at requiring a balanced team overall
sure you will have bad weeks, but you will have good weeks. and we have like 20 weeks or some shite

i agree with this..
and h2h is def. more fun..it is just not as accurate in finding the definitive winner..it's an obv. thing..i don't understand why one would argue that point..the standings will be more random, bottom line..

eh
one could argue that any system that assigns a point value for different stats is less accurate
even if you normalize the points (which very few leagues do)

If a player is on the DL then they can be put on DL on your team
Posted on 4/12/10 at 6:51 pm to Lester Earl
oh shite i see that now
if we put them on the DL, can we take them off whenever?
brian roberts is on the 15 day DL, but blanton should be back in a few days. can i put blanton on and then pull him off when he's back? or does he have to go for 15 days?
