We have an owner who has gone AWOL & we need a replacement for his team. Draft has already occurred, but Yahoo gave his team the highest draft grade in the league at an A-.

$25 entry fee & his players are below.

Please post e-mail if interested in taking ownership of this team.

Thanks

If that's an A-, I would hate to see a D. Makes me feel like my team is an A++.

Yea why draft cam and Kirk.

The rating site has the team ranked stupid. They probably have berkhead too high.

Also his only good back is a rookie unproven behind a trash line and two kickers lol

Oh and carrying two defenses it’s like the team gets shittier each time I look at it.

Jumpy what am I missing, that’s a good team assuming it’s a 12 team PPR

QB Cam
RB Barkley
RB Burkhead
WR Julio
WR Fitz
Flex cooper
TE Jimmy G

Gotta pick up an RB along the way but Cohen has upside in a PPR

13th pick in 2nd round would be a 10 team league, no?

If Burkhead can stay healthy, Cooper has a pulse this year and the Bears really use Cohen in the slot, it could be a competitive team with some good waiver wire pickups. But, an A- as a drafted team just seems like a huge stretch to me.

Cam, Julio, Fitz, Jimmy G are all perennial top 5 players at their positions every year. Barkley will be around there. That's a good start. In a 10 teamer you can fill that RB2 hole and depth pretty easily

Yes but for a $25 buy in are you motivated to grind and turn that into a winner?

I'm kind of tempted, what are the payouts?

Personally, no

Though there are prob 4-5 guys I’d nab that are FAs w arrows pointing up that would minimize the work needed to be done , which really isn’t that much to begin with

My main issue with it is the roster construction. I hate carrying 2 qbs unless I’m trying to platoon them which with cam I’m not doing. I also hate carrying two tightends with jimmy g. That is two better players for depth. Then the team has two kickers so you are 3 players short. I also am not a Burkhead fan, he is injured and has injury history. If one of the 3 spots taken up by the auto draft choices was a rookie back it wouldn’t be so bad.

The 25 isn’t a big deal and you are right there are moves to be made that could make the team a contender.

Seems like this team was autodrafted after the first couple of rounds. Why else would the guy draft a defense and kicker back to back in the 8th and 9th, only to then draft a 2nd def and kicker at the end?

That being said, it's not a bad team at the top. What's the scoring format?

Still open? Seems like a challenge. I'd do it. Email me at jeffwestbank@gmail.com for specifics.

The guy that went AWOL is from TigerDroppings, but he's disappeared since mid-August after he told us he was playing again this season. He had been an active player the last couple years & even won the league in 2016.

His team was on auto-draft when we drafted last week, which made me wonder what was going on. His e-mail address now gets returned as undeliverable, so we're trying to find a replacement owner instead of just benching his roster every week.

Main scoring differences from standards leagues are passing TD's are 6 instead of 4 & return yards count for individuals & Defense/Special Teams.
