That's why I hope it's no suspension from the stupidly stringent drug tests. He might have the two weeks tacked on if they didn't get rid of that provision in the draft they're going to vote on tomorrow afternoon (THEY BETTER).

If they do actually vote on Friday, I think there stands a good chance they will vote in favor of the new deal. I don't think they are going to put anything to a vote unless they are at least pretty sure it will pass.
It would nice if Gordon's suspension were wiped clean but, according to Rapoport, they will take each player on a case by case basis. I was hoping they would just lump everyone together in wiping the slate but since they are not doing it that way, I think we should be prepared for Gordon to be out longer. I hope I am so wrong on that though.

The thing is, though, He hasn't been convicted of the DuI yet. If you take that out of the equation, plus the fact that he failed for weed, a max of two games is more than enough. He's already served one game. He would get suspended one more this weekend, then get to play. If he is convicted for the DUI later, two games next year. Why is that not fair. It is his first DUI, right?

That stuff takes about a year. D. Bowe got popped for MJ possession last November and just got suspended a game last month

we don't know that for sure.
IMO, it defies the whole point of a union. It should be everyone and clear-cut across the board. Everyone gets reinstated or no deal. A case-by-case basis is pointless. It gives the NFL all the leverage back.
