Ok

In 2014, Sanders was the #5 PPR WR. The only WR with more points were Brown, DT88, Jordy, and Dez, but yeah, he is a mid tier WR2.

How do slot WRs usually fare in Gary Kubiaks offense? I can't really think of any during his time in Houston

And I know, Peyton Manning and all, but given his arm I think Kubiack may have more of a control on the personnel sets, play calls than he usually would. They have like 40 TEs

I would rather Sanders but at the value of only giving up a 13th for a very viable flex player in Matthews....I would choose him and not look back

It was a hard choice, but I kept Matthews in the 13th.

He might be the main guy with Ertz.

We shall see.

well that's the trouble of trying to translate a guy's system to a completely different set of circumstances.

Yes if you back and look at his days in Houston, his #2 WRS didn't do much of note. But outside of Andre who of note did they have? This is easily the best combo of QB to WRs he's had. Sanders' #s are likely bound to regress a bit, but I wouldn't expect a drastic drop off either.

There is no way sanders repeats those numbers. Run based offense, Peyton regressing, Latimer rising. Matthews meanwhile is going from good numbers in a limited role to starting. Guesstimate his numbers as you wish

he doesnt have to repeat. Even a slight down tick in production puts him among the top 15.

run based offense? maybe more running, but it will never be run based with Peyton there.

Lattimer rising based on what? sure he was a 1st round pick, but hasnt shown anything for me to assume he is rising. He was inactive for half the season and caught 2 balls all year.

You're saying a slight down tick. I'm expecting at least 20-30%. But that's why we play the game. You can own him at his 3rd round price tag. I likely will not

Well this guy can own him as a fifth rounder, so that's worth it.

20% decrease still has him at 80/1120. 6-8 TDs and he is a top 15 WR

he had 141 targets last year with Julius Thomas & Wes Welker on that team. Both are gone.

Im not saying I dislike Mathews, cause i like him. I just don't like his QB

I see what you're saying. And if I'm betting I still think sanders outscores Matthews. I just think they're pretty close. That Eagles #1 WR role has been stat stuffing under Kelly
