Just got the notification. Now he can go back to just being a TE full-time.
Not sure how much help this'll be anyway, but perhaps there's a glimmer of hope for us ARob owners going forward

I mean surely there's no way the offense could possibly get worse right? Maybe this change will finally get them going

Arob's been targeted like 15 times per game....you think the new OC will UP that? He was the QB coach, so I think he's going to stear plays into those who can catch the ball.

If you were given your first shot to be an OC in the NFL....wouldn't you hope to ride the hotter hands?

The problem has been the types of targets. Tons of attempted dump offs and crosses, where ARob is more of a Dez/radius type catch guy. He made a living going down the sidelines and 15+ yard passes. His YPC is way down.

They want to run the ball more. That was the riff between Olson and Bradley it appears
Could balance out and give the pass game more efficiency. But you still have the problem of Bortles being way off mechanically, pocket awareness etc

I doubt you've watched the jags, and no one could blame you for that,but bortles hasn't even given Arob a shot to make the catch on tons of throws this year.
Just on Thursday I can remember 4 passes that didn't even get in the vicinity of him, as well as two more that he caught out of bounds.
He and bortles don't appear to be on the same page either, and both shake their head after each incompletion.
I've seen with my own eyes Arob drop 3 tds this year. I've also seen quite a few PI's on deep throws.
