I'm being offered Amari Cooper for DeShaun Watson

I have Aaron Rodgers so Watson really wouldn't play much and I am thin at WR but Cooper has been horrendous the last couple of weeks. At WR, I have Keenan Allen, Chris Hogan and Davonte Adams. His other WR is Kelvin Benjamin and his RBs suck outside of McCoy, whom I know he isn't going to give me for a QB obviously. Should I do this just to have some depth or pass?

I mean, I wouldn't mind the depth, I just feel like if Watson continues to play hot, I could potentially get more for him is all.

While I do agree, TD's are all 6 across the board so it gives a bit more value to them in this league.

I've got mariota and was trying to get Watson.
If Cooper does help your team then go ahead and do it because Watson is just depth for you. But since he needs Watson more than you do make sure you make him give you enough to make it worth your time.

Looks like Cooper has a bunch of tough matchups too. Miami, NE and maybe Baltimore? are his only good matchups the rest of the schedule.
Maybe he turns it on, but no Carr the next couple of weeks tells me he's not about to be tearing it up.

No it doesn't. If anything it gives him less value.

WIth a guy like Cooper, once Carr comes back the only matchup to be wary of is Denver IMO. But I usually don't even consider matchups except in the most extreme circumstances.

Fair enough. And more than likely Cooper will not continue to lead the league in drops. But right now the other guy needs Watson more than the OP needs Cooper. Especially since mariota might not play. I'd see if the guy would sweeten the deal.
