They've improved the QB, Oline (not a lot but upgrades), Coach, & offensive strategy. I'll drink that kool-aid

TDs - namely 6 that came from within 2 yards - propelled DJ last year. None of the underlying things you want to see propel an RB went his way. And remember, in his big year, he led the league in touches and scored 20 times, 15 coming inside the 5 yard line. OL is still ranking in at 30/32 in PFF's preseason OL rankings

I like DJ, dont get me wrong, but he's not going to be a yardage monster like some of the other top RB. A few things will need to fall into place- You're going to need the receptions to come back and he's going to need to continue to find pay dirt. For that, I would have him in the back half of RD1, as I believe the other RBs are a little more predictable with the yards/receptions floor

Let's says it's 3rd week of the preseason and Zeke still isn't signed... You're still taking Zeke at 4?

I'm in this same situation and I'm leaning DJ, simply to avoid a LevBell situation.

Last year LevBell owner here. Still made the playoffs but that sunk my chances of winning. Never seen a hold out like that one.

That poll I started is running 35% Johnson / 32% Zeke.

Elliot - RB
32%
Johnson - RB
35%
Hopkins - WR
31%
Bell - RB
2%

Wish some of these damn slow draft leagues wouldn't have to start so early. I'll wake up tomorrow and roll the dice.

One could argue it's about making the playoffs. Zeke's a playa and he loves the limelight. Just don't see him staying out of it. And I don't see ol' Jerry losing one of his remaining chances to win it all. He ain't getting any younger and this year's team has a chance to make some noise in the playoffs.

I say Zeke signs, but damn.

At 4? I don’t like DJ or Bell at 4 tbh. Would prob look to WR assuming cmc Kamara Barkley are off the board. But Connor isn’t getting enough love at RB, his per 16 game pace was pretty sick

I love the back end of rd 1 this year. We are going to clean up in snake draft at the 1-2 and 3-4 turns

who you looking at? I'm at 10 and I'm going crazy trying to narrow down the buffet of WR1s and a Chubb/Gurley type also available

yahoo mock grades only go off ADP, so that doesn't help

We are talking Jerry Jones here. Zeke will be signed well before week 3.

There seems to be an unfounded fear of jaylen taking all of the receiving work. It really takes just one person to speculate on that for the rest of the fantasy industry to parrot it as fact.

David Johnson’s stock is creeping too high. His OL still sucks and there are just a lot of unknowns of how he’ll be used in that offense. I’m still find with him in round 1 but top 4? A lot of risk there for that spot

At the 1-2 I’m gonna look at the connors, Freeman, Mixon, Chubb, LF, bells at RB

WR like Antonio, Evans, theilen, Allen

Kelce/Ertz

should be a lot more threads on middle/late picks.

Should be high upside/floor threads for middle round players by position.

Sure the cliche "you cant win your league in the first round but you can lose it' has merit, but fantasy football is about unearthing dudes in the middle of a draft that vastly outplay their perceived value.

FWIW..

Our division is still stalled. The number one guy hasn't even shown up yet. In the other division Zeke went number eight. Hopkins was picked fourth.

Edit: The dude just showed up. I went ahead and picked Zeke number four Come on Jerry!!

I do a mock a day now to see if I can settle on who I really want at 10/11 and Chubb has been there more times than not.

Not sure if serious on those unless you really love them. I wouldn't expect Connor to fall there and I know he's not in mine

What don’t you think is serious about that? And yeah, assuming your post was directed at me, those are the guys I like at the back end of rd 1, early rd 2 in a 12 team PPR. Any of those have great floors with the ceiling of finishing at the top of their position.

There is not much difference in the top 25 players this season imo
