Dude in my league went Zeke, Brown, and Gordon first three picks

I appreciate someone that can roll the dice like that

So did someone in my league.

I think zeke is a no brainer at this point. But Gordon is a huge question mark and I wouldn’t touch AB over a lot of the other top receivers.

How many teams are in this league?

Anything less than 16 and this team is hot garbage

I’m gonna bet it’s a 10 teamer. Takes Adams 8th overall, then spins around and takes Odell at 13th in 2nd. Reaches hard for Chris Carson in the 3rd. Picks Gordon early 4th. Reaches hard for Mike Williams 5th and Ekeler 6th

12 team league and took Gordon in the 4th. Too much upside there if he plays. Only bad think is I had to jump out there in the 6th and get Eckler.

I told myself if I committed to drafting Gordon anywhere, I basically had to waste a pick on Eckler. Hopefully it works out.

Ok, smart guy. Here's how the draft played out and the reasoning behind my decisions. You can tell me where you would have gone.

Rounds 1 & 2 (11 & 14) - I always go PBA in the first 2 rounds regardless of position. I knew going in it would likely be WR/WR. I was pleasantly surprised to see Adams there at 11 and then Odell at 14. Love having 2 possible Top 3 receivers (100+ catches, 1200+ yards, 10-12 TDs) in a PPR league.

Late Round 3 - I knew this would be a difficult spot for a RB. I had hoped someone like K Johnson, Henry or A Jones would fall but they went a couple picks earlier. My options were: Carson, Jacobs, Lindsey or White. Carson was the safest pick. Could have gone Edelman or Diggs but that would have really hurt my RBs.

Early 4th - I was hoping Jacobs would make it back to me but he was taken right before me. Probably should have gone Edelman or Diggs here but felt like taking a shot at Gordon. Not sold on Lindsey's offense and situation and I don't like taking Patriot RBs based on the way BB uses then week to week.

Late 5th - By taking Gordon I felt immense pressure to take Eckler here. He was the next best RB on the board and I was pretty certain he wouldn't make it back to me. Worst case scenario if Gordon sits all year, Eckler is likely an top 15-20 RB. Best case scenario Gordon is traded to someone like Houston and I have 3 top 15-20 RBs. Other options were Miles Sanders and Tevin Coleman.

Early 6th - All the receivers in this spot are basically a crapshoot for decent WR3 numbers. Options were Williams, Westbrook, Shepard, J Gordon, E Sanders, Fuller

Rounds 7 & 8 - Felt like A Robinson and Kirk would be great options for WR3 numbers as well. Both were great values based on ADP. Same with Henry. If he can play the whole year, he can possibly get 60+ catches.

Goff was someone that I targeted from the start. Very pleased to get him in the 11th round. Finished last year as the 7th QB and played much of the year without his favorite target (Kupp). Josh Allen was the best fantasy QB from week 12-17 in 2018.

Mattison, Edmonds, J Williams, M Davis are just backup picks that are worthless unless the starter goes down.

Quinn and Samuel are just deep sleepers and really shouldn't see the starting lineup

If you're critical about my picks for Defense and Kicker, you lose all credibility on this site.
