Can't say I know anything about Tysom but Bell can't fricking play anymore. He's done.

I agree they'll probably sign Latavius which will make the backfield even more confusing. If they sign Latavius, not sure what to think of the RBs.

Did ekeler not practice again today?

They don't practice until 2 pm west coast time. Chargers beat writer said he will tweet out what happens after the media availability.

I picked up Tyson.

Latavious is on waiver in my league, because, well, I dropped him 2 days ago for Tony. Kamara is my RB1, I need the handcuff.

The guy I'm playing this week is watching me, I can see his icon on my transactions. I'm waiver 11, I can guarantee I can get Latavious before him, but 10 other people will have a shot first, and I'm not sure its worth burning the waiver to have 2 guys in an unknown backfield.

I don't know, man.

Pro Football Focus' Doug Kyed reports the Chargers are "optimistic" Austin Ekeler (hamstring) will be ready for Sunday's opener against the Washington Football Team. Ekeler was "DNP" on Thursday, an eye-brow raising development for a back who was plagued by hamstring issues in 2020.

Ravens now are signing veteran free-agent RB Devonta Freeman to their practice squad, per his agent @DrewJRosenhaus. The idea is that Freeman will be promoted to Ravens’ active roster.

That may be a misprint. The Chargers beat writer is saying that they just started practice. Maybe someone got some info before practice.

Sounds like Latavius isn't signing with them then. I think Williams is the back to own in that backfield.

I think Lamar Jackson is the back to own in that backfield. I would think it'd be a rbbc after Bell/Freeman get acclimated in that offense.

He might just be too expensive.

That's what I'm thinking too. Just trying to figure out how much FAAB to throw at him.

They’re going to run the football and Williams is the type of back they love.

Bell is washed. We saw that last year with the Chiefs. Freeman may see some 3rd down work.

This is terrible news, obviously, for Edwards and particularly, the Ravens, who see their starting running back sustain a likely season-ending injury for the second time in just a couple of weeks, not to mention the injury to Justice Hill. The obvious beneficiary is Ty’Son Williams, who vaults from an unknown depth chart piece to the likely starter. Baltimore has already added Trenton Cannon and, on the practice squad, Le’Veon Bell and now Devonta Freeman. But Williams impressed in camp and is likely to see a significant role, at least in the short-term. With a probable big workload coming in Week 1 against a soft Raiders defense, Williams moves to my RB21 this week in half-PPR formats with Bell moving to 45. If you’re somehow still drafting, consider Williams a strong RB3 for now for the season (RB29), with Bell slotting in at RB43.

Nothing official yet but I'm seeing that anytime the team says "fear it's a _____" they're right 99% of the time. Especially when it comes to ACL

I dropped him for Tyson. Clean and quick. Seems like that'd the next man up.
