Without knowing the rest of your roster, you may be okay. The WRs may be a wash. Then you're looking at the point discrepancy between the other players. CMC will greatly outscore Kelley and Mahomes won't nearly outscore Carr by that much IMO.

Kelley didn't look as good as Jackson, IMO.

You traded away CMC and kept Mike Davis? I would have included Davis as the handcuff to sweeten the deal since he will be basically worthless to you soon.

He didn't want Davis, so that's good for me. So if CMC gets hurt again, I'm sitting good.

You're letting Godwin's early injury issues affect your judgment and overvaluing Mahomes

I'm not sure if Snell or McFarland is the handcuff to Conner right now but I would find out who it is and make sure he's on your roster.

According to Mike Clay at ESPN its Snell.

You likely gave up the RB1 and a top 10 WR for a top 5 QB, a top 10 WR and RB30ish.

I feel like you got rekt by letting go mccaffrey just bc he is the best fantasy football player alive but if it was any other running back you had given up then I wouldn’t hate it bc you are deep at rb. You upgraded your qb and wR position. Godwin is great but his ceiling likely isn’t as high with Brady at the helm as it was with Jameis. Bucs defense is improved and the offense is more conservative. Thielan is killing it and I think you got a significant upgrade there.

Is it though? Thielan is the number 1 overall receiver in half PPR. He is second in standard and full ppr.

I like thielen a good bit better than Godwin this year and I think that's a solid upgrade. Mahomes is always nice to have. Cmc is a league winner though and with you having his handcuff (that is equally productive) that's a pretty big blow. I think you slightly lost on the trade bc of that but looking at your roster I think you'll be fine. Good luck.

Thielen may be better mainly because he has the easiest remaining schedule for WRs. But, I'm not sure that it's a significant upgrade. Godwin should still be a top 10 WR.

He has been a top 2 receiver In all fantasy categories through the first 5 weeks regardless of his rest of the year schedule. Godwin is a really good receiver but you are valuing off his production from last year when bucs had no defense and Jameis threw the ball all over the place. That is not the offense that the Bucs have now and he will have competition for targets from both evans and Scotty Miller.
