It's not legal in general, you just can't make any moves if you have players stashed on your DL right now. The rookie draft is making moves, so you have to have it cleared by then. As long as you have under the max amount of players, you are fine.

Gotcha, I haven't made any add/drops, only trades... think I'm 3 over the max counting guys still stashed on the DL.

I disagree with that, fwiw. It shouldn't be done retrospectively, imo. I understand the logic and even agree that teams shouldn't be able to make moves going forward if you're carrying DL spots. But that was never mentioned before this week. It isn't in the league rules and it wasnt discussed in prior threads (specifically when the DL topic was being discussed last offseason). As far as I can remember, there was never the stipulation that if you carry DL guys in the offseason, you cant make moves or draft. If that was previously mentioned, then I apologize. But teams with DL guys have been making moves for the first two months of this offseason without a peep from anyone until fantrax updates the rosters this week. Now some owners are calling for roster adjustments.
Y'all basically just made a new rule this week and are enforcing it without debate on the topic. With that said, I will comply and am working on adjusting my roster as we speak and, again, agree with the rule going forward. I just don't think a new rule like this should take place retrospectively and effect teams who made transactions before this week since it was never a stipulation.

yes it was. We definitely settled on the rule. The website just wasnt set up that way so people were free to add/drop as they chose.

We discussed being able to carry DL players in the offseason if they ended the season on the DL. I don't ever recall anyone saying "but if you do this, you cant make moves in the offseason or draft". If that second part is discussed anywhere, then y'all are 100% correct.
