yes you'll have to clear your DL before the draft.

I'm not sure why it didnt roll over from last year. I sent a inquiry in to the help desk. I'll report back when i hear something.

Cool. I am not bitching. I just wanted clarification for myself and others who are currently carrying DL guys. It may persuade some owners not to even use their draft picks now.

yea i know you werent bitching baw. Just clarifying
well you'll have to clean it up by opening day either way, so im not sure there is an advantage unless you truly have someone that is hurt. I would think being able to add/drop players may be more beneficial

That's specifically what I am talking about. It throws another wrinkle into strategy of dropping/adding for an owner who is carrying multiple guys on their DL who are definitely not going to be ready for opening day. I just never really thought about it until this discussion.

I thought we agreed that you can keep a guy on your roster on the DL that finishes the year on the DL
My understanding was that we couldn't add a guy after ther season and put him on the DL

like gyno said, you can keep him on DL, you just can't make add/drops unless you clear your DL. Ron, what id like to see happen is you clear your DL since you have made roster moves this offseason. Hope that isnt too much to ask
