Earl was a bit preoccupied this weekend. I know because I sent him an IM to see how he was doing with the flooding.
I'm gonna give him a pass on this one.

What about Clams? Isn't he in BR, too? Anyone know if he's OK?

I think he lives relatively close to old Women's Hospital. Not entirely sure though.

Thanks Big G.
One of my coworkers lost everything. Another had a lot of water.
This shite sucks.

Yeah it does. About half the people I work with got water in their house. A lot of them couldn't make it in today. Feel very, very fortunate to have only lost power.

A couple of my friends don't have flood insurance either, sucks big time. One had to get rescued by boat.

I'm lucky to be dry. Bunch of my friends and coworkers have water in their houses. This thing exceeded the base flood elevations by a great margin, so yeah - lots of people were flooded without insurance.
I talked to Clams this morning and his house has approximately 6 feet in it. He did have flood insurance, but it's still a huge shite sandwich. I'll keep y'all posted.

Happy for you, hate it for everyone else. I know people that lost everything when the Red River went ape pooh last year. My brother in law's street was on Good Morning America (Golden Meadows) but fortunately his house was not flooded either.
