Stros couldn’t touch kevin brown that series

That was my favorite Houston team

My dad used to take me to Houston every summer for a series. It just so happened that year our trip coincided with Randy Johnson’s trade to the Astros.

That was my squad: Unit, Bagpipes, Biggio, Moises Alou, Wagner, Lima Time

We went that year to Houston to watch the Cubs after Unit was traded. Cubs got swept but Sosa got 2 off Lima on his way to 66

We were staying at the cubs hotel and stole one of my dads cigs and went downstairs to smoke it at like 2am. Sammy came cruising up in a convertible mustang with two babes

Watched the 1995 ALDS mariners vs yankees game on espn on tuesday, what a throwback, I was 12 and getting to watch Griffey in the playoffs for the first time was quite a thrill.

Yes.

But only if we are busy kicking some Axis arse. No other exceptions.

Multiple agents receiving messaging today that there will NOT be a minor league season, rather, an MLB expanded roster and a developmental league playing out of ST facilities. Huge.

This is what I figured

MLB and MiLB now declining the report.

Baseball America went in dry on the reporter

To clarify, @JoeDoyleMiLB is not a Baseball America staffer or regular BA contributor. BA is reporting that no decision has been made on the currently postponed 2020 MiLB season.

Damn

For rebuilders, yeh it sucks. Anything short of an MiLB season will suck.

But it is what it is. Id rather Luciano be getting at-bats somewhere, even it is just against players within his own organization.

I am kind of excited to see some top prospects on MLB expanded rosters that we normally wouldn’t have seen.

I was kidding. I remember a big SI article on him that season...the cover pick/or inside can't recall was of him roller-blading shirtless...before everyone decided roller-blading was gay as frick.

Rumor flying around now: Spring Training will begin again on June 10 with July starting date for baseball in home parks. Again, this is still in the rumor stage.
