He was available on the wire year before last and got destroyed last year after showing out early. The only surprise is he’s looked good in ST. Who knows, maybe he’s a late bloomer after getting his baseball career going after a b-ball detour. GLTY barry!

Obviously more than those Spring stats would indicate.

He had 15 losses and a meh-tastic 4.42 ERA last season, but the losses don't matter (20 QS) and his FIP was a much more tolerable 3.61 indicating some bad luck. He led the NL in IP last year (still a scoring stat), had a very respectable 8.9 K/9, and really lowered his walk rate contributing to the 1.136 WHIP.

That said, I'd want a young OF with some upside.
