he wasnt really heralded as a velo guy, but he has been bringing it these last two starts. it'll make them secondaries really work

He was hitting 96 before you dropped him. I was surprised he threw that hard... thought it might have just been a hot gun.

I attributed it to only throwing 2-3 IPs in spring training and a bit of "over throwing" to prove himself
