I joked its whining was when people try to institute new rules just to support their circumstances

who isn't managing their team well enough?

name them

seriously

ties kinda frick the system. Week 1 had 4 teams tie for 10th in HRs for example. That's where the extra wins come from

you have to separate birdperson the team owner and birdperson the committee member

I can think you're whining as s team owner and still objectively apply rules

I've been consistent in that I think you guys try to legislate out people running their teams as they see fit.

it's like you guys want to make a rule for every circumstance that could ever come up

I didn't have a circumstance to support.

I'm literally just thinking of ways to improve the competitiveness of the league using a hypothetical based on a current occurrence.

And also trying to think of how I'd react under that circumstance. This one left me somewhere between :| and

It doesn't matter because at this point it is what it is.
But with a tougher set of lineup requirements and an enforced warning system, there could be a scenario where we'd have to vote on whether or not to remove the least active.

You could say that about anyone who comes up with a new idea. We are a league where the members bring up ideas. We don’t have independent commissioners

instead of fighting us on them.

Tell me why it's not a valid point.

That's what I was expecting. Like LE did, I see your point as valid but....

Then you talk it out.

I am genuinely curious who the teams are that are bucking the system, shelling out 150 bucks and then not doing everything they can to reach an arbitrary number of ABs like 150 per week

you know what.... you're right

I think we should force teams to drop their injured players and add the yolmer sanchez' of the world to make you feel they are trying hard enough.

IDGAF what you think.

Vote against it in the off-season. At least next season we won't have to deal with committee members who would rather shite on ideas than keep active managers around.

Wait a minute is someone complaining (with TBM support) that the league isn’t perfect (by their definition) again? Shocking!

Jimenez is "really close" to joining the White Sox, Teddy Greenstein of the Chicago Tribune reports.

ANALYSIS
White Sox player development director Chris Getz said the organization's top prospect is nearing a promotion to Chicago. "He has done nothing but perform," Getz said. "This guy's been able to drive the ball to all fields. He's been able to set up pitchers. ... He's got a pretty good arm. We just want to make sure he's as ready as possible. We're getting really close." Jimenez, 21, continues to dominate Triple-A pitching, batting .376 with eight home runs, nine doubles and 18 RBI in 29 games

Gore has posted a 2.25 ERA, 1.03 WHIP and 43:13 K:BB in 32 innings over his last seven starts at Low-A Fort Wayne.

ANALYSIS
Gore has allowed no more than two earned runs in any of those outings and has covered at least five innings on five occasions. The 19-year-old lefty is one of several impressive arms in a deep Padres system and his minor-league results along with an arsenal that features four potential plus pitches make his upside as high as any of his organizational mates

MWG, step up and do your duty and relieve these gentlemen of their work.

I’ll gladly offer up my services, but I’m not forcing anyone out. If current committee members want a break, I’ll be more than happy to serve.

You can’t even manage your team to the qualifying IP in TDBL.
