Not to mention he steps in as arguably the top pass blocking RB in the NFL. He's not coming off the field for Alfred Morris or DMC unless he's hurt

And DMAC when he isn't broken will contribute too. DeMarco Murray crushed it behind that OL in 2014 with a healthy Romo and Dez, but he got 393 carries and 64 targets.
I don't see Zeke getting close to that volume. I think he'll be good though, I just have tempered expectations.

He doesnt need 393. He can get 250 and be fine. Id say that's his floor. Only 5 RBs had more last season, so there is value in that alone. Couple that with his playmaking and pass catching.
McFadden and Morris are on cheap deals that are heavily incentivized. Concern in Big D is winning before Romo's window closes. They arent feeding those two guys unless they have too

I get your point, Jerry is definitely in win-now mode. He did pick him #4 for a reason. But I don't see them putting all the weight on his shoulders as a rook. DMAC had 1400+ yards from scrimmage last year at 4.6 ypc. Alf has shown ability outside of last year. We'll see how it plays out.
