7LSU7 has been doing one for the Saints game and all prime time games. He usually creates a thread for it.

I need some advice on other contests to play. I don’t like the odds with 300,000 people lol

I play just one lineup in the milli maker now per week.

I also enjoy the island contests where it's just the sunday or monday night games. I've actually done alright in those compared to other GPPs.

playing the Saints D today paid off but with AJ Brown going out that hurt me in the milli maker but still cashing in that one at the moment.

I used the same lineup in our 12 team contest in the milli maker. That's the plan going forward.

I haven’t done great in NFL. Finally won $5 on a $3 entry. Have done pretty well with MLB. Finished 2nd out of 3000. Only $1 entry and won $150.00. Have done pretty good in golf. Up over $200 at the moment in DraftKings.

Yeah those are clear money losers. And on top of that, I'd your lineup isn't built a specific way, you're already behind the 8-ball

Its not just that. How many teams are being picked by spreadsheets and/or software now? Go to a specific website and lock in a few players and have them fill out the rest of your roster based on their fantasy projections. So in a large GPP, not only are you playing "professionals" but youre also playing maybe hundreds of people that you might be wayyy more knowledgeable than but they have a fantasy website subscription picking 70% of their team. There are probably a few owners in our little $5 contests who use a software. As all of the fantasy websites jump onto the craze, DFS in general is moving away from being a game where results are based on the owners knowledge, imo, as more people rely on something other than themselves to fill out their own lineups.

A few years ago, one of the siriusxm fantasy station hosts did some research on the easiest DFS games to cash in on. Single entry contest were the easiest GPPs not surprisingly. I also remember specifically that single entry 50/50s with 100-200 entries had the lowest average scores to cash out week in and week out. Each week it usually only took a score in the low 120s to cash out in those.

Edit: they were researching on Draftkings

This is true.

I cashed yesterday in the Milli Maker and that's all I was trying to do.

The lineup that won the tournament was this:

Josh Allen
Mattison
Swift
DK Metcalf
Cole Beasley
Emmanuel Sanders
Logan Thomas
Justin Jefferson
Cards D

Beasley and Sanders were both obviously low owned and stacked with Allen

Hell Allen was low owned at just 5%

but when I put my lineup together I don't try and go off the grid with an optimizer or anything. That takes the fun of it.

If I cash even a modest amount that's a win for me

Absolutely. I gather info from sites just like I would for season long. But, I'm not letting anyone else set my lineups. That's weak.

My guess is that lineup that won it came from an optimizer.

But according to the score board he also played 37 lineups.

So he may have targeted some games and decided to stack those and really did it himself.

But the highest owned part of his lineup was the Cards D/ST at just 16.8% so it makes you wonder
