I am contemplating trying something different in Fantasy Baseball. I will have one pitcher that I will add/drop daily so that I can pick up a starter for that day. Does anyone else do this?

Streaming is frowned upon in this establishment

It happens all the time... it's called streaming. A lot of leagues have add/drop limits in place to combat this, but if yours doesn't, then go for it.

It might hurt you more than it will help though, depending on the stats you use.

Never heard of doing something like that, interesting.

Do your pitchers absolutely suck? Are you pretty much guaranteed to lose ERA and WHIP anyway?

Streaming is frowned upon, spot starting is not.

I never really got why people were upset by those who streamed.

I don't do it, personally, but hell if you wanna try your luck at picking between average to below average pitchers every day/week to try and fill your pitching void, power to you.

Those seem like some pretty deep leagues. Might be pretty tough to find good matchups.

I did that in one of my leagues a couple years ago. Helped me earn a second place finish. League manager had a 20-move per week limit. lolz.

I got pretty into it. Looked for SP going twice in one fantasy week, studied their split stats (vs. left/right, home/away, their history against certain teams.. in certain parks, etc.) You can rack up some good numbers streaming.
