Crazy to start AB over Thielen?

Brown @ Carolina
I'm a little concerned about Thielen's matchup. He's been brutal against Chicago and the last couple of weeks. I've been hearing about how Carolina is tough vs #1 WRs but not so much against where Brown lines up.
Already starting Michael Thomas, McLaurin and Fulgham for sure. Need a fourth.

I don’t think it’s crazy. You’ve got floor players already in there, nothing wrong with taking the risk that TB has figured out how to use AB appropriately.
But Thielen is definitely the safer play, even considering matchup.

I think you have to give Thielen one more week before bailing on him for other options. Chicago should sell out to stop the run (Cook). While I’m surely not expecting a big game from Thielen, I think he gets back on the TD train with Irv Smith out. Realistic expectation may be 5-6 catches, 50 yards, TD.

I just couldn't start Brown over Thielen because
A) I need to see Brown do something worthwhile before I even consider it.
B) Even though Thielen is obviously the safer play, his ceiling is just as high, if not higher, than Brown's.
I wouldn't even think twice about it at all I'd just go with Thielen.

I have both and I am not starting AB over Thielen. I am debating AB vs Aiyuk in flex PPR

Thanks for the replies, fellas. I'll stick with Thielen which we all know means that AB will drop 25 today.

I don’t know if I'm the best person to ask about AB today. Everything in my being is telling me to start AB.

TB will want to get AB and TD and I think I may go with him in flex too. I also have Higgins but with the weather in Pit I think I’ve ruled him out. I think AB is the upside play and Aiyuk has the higher floor.

AB getting targeted. Not a terrible first half at all.

Brady missed him for a wide open long TD too.
