There was some heated discussion about how Melvin Gordon was going to take over the Den backfield and finish the year top 24. Dudes barely able to make a roster now

So you’re saying a fantasy football manager was wrong about a player? Fascinating.

This one was more than just a take.

If this was the same thread I recall… it made for some great reads.

It was me and I said with Javonte going down Gordon had the OPPORTUNITY to be a RB2, which isn’t some outlandish take considering the circumstances.

It was also the same thread you said that scrub 3rd RB they had would be better and fantasy relevant, so patting yourself on the back would be ill-advised.

I think I may have said he would outperform Gordon not necessarily be fantasy relevant. I don’t remember exactly. But do remember your takes lol

I don’t even remember if I said that.

What I do remember is your take that was absolutely idiotic. We were all right about that.

I’ve owned my take. Be man enough to own yours.

I get it though. You’re so used to being wrong that you have to keep bringing up that one time you were half right.

My take was the starting RB for the Broncos (who was Gordon at the time) had a decent chance of finishing top 24. Latavius Murray finished as the RB26 in PPG. So I wasn’t that far off, I just got the player wrong.

It’s quite funny because your take that their other RB would be “better” was just as bad, if not worse, at the end of the season.

Pull up the thread about Saquon being better than CMC and the reaaons why. That was the best thread last year IMO.

I'd actually be in favor of mandatory thread bumping at the end of the year. Would be hilarious to see how wrong most of us (myself included) were

My worst fantasy post ever was concern that Justin Jefferson was running behind Bisi Johnson and he might be a WR3 by the end of his rookie season

This is the one

And here is where it got good...

I will not forget to come back to say I told y’all so later in the year when Saquon is a PPR god meanwhile McCaffery is sidelined with another lower leg injury. The best of CMC is in the past and I’m not drafting a player I KNOW will get hurt. Not a matter of if, but when
