Cooks could get between 60-70 catches.

Immense talent and perfect system for the kid.

Allen, and it's not even close. So many mouths to feed in NO. Graham, Colston, Thomas, Stills.

Allen put up solid WR2 numbers last year. You have faith Cooks will do the same?

He has great numbers, a strong preseason, and big upside in NOLA, but at the end of the day, he is a fantasy dice roll. He could really turn out to be the type of guy that wins you the league, but I think he will get overdrafted heavily in Saints leagues. That one dude paid $7 for him already.

Allen is better than all of those and has proved it. What's your point?

$7 is a bargain

who's going to catch the balls vacated by Sproles and Lance Moore?

and they dont want Pierre Thomas catching 70 passes again(aka glorified handoffs).

Cooks will be heavily targeted. He's unanimously been the most impressive player in practice by everyone that has watched.

He was 3rd on his own team in receptions, behind Antonio Gates & Woodhead. Floyd was set to be the #1 last year, and even if he is their #2 this year, he's still going to take balls away.

my point is Rivers has a lot of weapons. Im not saying Allen is bad, but i wouldn't be surprised if he finishes in the same range as last year.

Woodhead will catch balls. As will Donald Brown.

Ladarius Green is going to be more involved.

and like i said, Floyd will see some targets as well.

Rivers has never been a guy to target WR's heavily over the years. Gates is getting old, but he has always been "his guy".

Allen had the most fantasy points of all the receivers on the team, correct? I'm on my phone so it's hard to check stats.

I'm seeing Allen with more points than Woodhead.

You must have not watched San Diego last year. Allen is a very safe pick. Rivers locks in on Allen in the red zone. Keenan has some of the best hands that I saw in 2013. Rivers would almost attempt to force feed Allen at times that would result in a bunch of PI calls. While PI does not help in fantasy, it is patently clear that Rivers has his guy.

As for Cooks, I will take a cheap flyer on him in my two leagues outside of LA, but I cannot justify that money for him when everyone here is already fapping twice a day to him.
