Or alternatively, who is more likely to get going second half of the season? I have Ajayi and someone offered me TY for him. Neither seems to be doing much.

as a TY owner in two leagues, i would take a 6 pack of bud heavy for him.

TY sucks bc Luck isn’t playing. Ajayi is a pure, unadulterated independent bum

People drafted ty even with luck’s uncertainty. The onus is on the owner here

TY might be traded, If you don't believe in Ajayi take a shot on hilton and hope he gets moved within the next 24 hours

That's utterly ridiculous, even coming from you...

The owner of the team said Luck would be ready week 1 as late as the preseason. None of us TY owners had any reason to believe Indy was purposefully deceiving their fans and had no plan for Luck to play this year.

Gyne. I'm sure you remember in July/August the reports were he'd be back likely by week 1 latest by October.

There were more red flags and skepticism than there was certainty. People still spent an early pick on Hilton when his value was directly tied to Luck, who was still on the PUP list up until sept 1. Even if you drafted after he was removed from PUP there’s a 5 week window where you could’ve been without luck

So yes making a risky pick on Hilton in the first few rounds falls on the owner. You could’ve still drafted a really good player in that spot

I’m not sure I follow

The timeline was laid out on twitter j. He wasn’t even throwing a football when he came off the PUP and on top of that, they said he would still need 2 weeks of practice before seeing action! I mean, this isn’t my personal speculation - I even posted the tweets during the preseason

Gotta go with gyno here. I stayed completely away from him because it was obvious luck was not going to be ready at the start of the season. At best I expected maybe week 10 and then still I wasn't high on him because of the layoff.

If you have a choice, play the matchups with TY. He still has the jags, Steelers, and broncos on his schedule. Yikes...

Although Ajayi hasn’t done anything to this point, you get the feeling they’ll reinvest in the run sooon.

Ajayi is 5th in the league in attempts as it is

His problem is not catching the ball out of the backfield. That provided him a comfortable floor even when he had an off game. Hasn’t found the end zone either, which is troubling

They finally discovered Ajayi existed as a receiver late in this week's game.

Also after watching him he has had little hope. The play where they shotgun snap it to the QB who pitches it to a stationary Ajayi might be the dumbest fricking play I've ever seen.

Even if he came back week 6, like you are saying, you still get Hilton with Luck for 6-7 games during he regular season. Is that not worthy of WR15 value? To me he is or was

I’m not the hindsight type

That’s like saying we should have known better that Martaviis bryant would be inactive midway through the season

No, it’s not worth it imo

Neither am I. I’m a foresight type. Which is why I don’t own Hilton on any of my 6 teams

So you would rather have had Pyror, ARob, Bryant, Sanders, Jeffrey? Because those are the WRs who were drafted around him....

Don’t get all crystal ball here. Ty’s career splits without Luck are pitiful, but there was about a zero percent chance Luck would miss the entire season when we all drafted

I don’t own any of those players on any of my teams except ARob, who I took in an upstart dynasty. So no, I would not rather have any of those guys

For better or worse I got Crabtree, Keenan Allen, Diggs, cooper and Baldwin in that range

shite dude for the 3rd time, it was all about mitigating risk based on the information that was out there. Luck hadn’t picked up a football as of sept 1.

But there was a chance he played 5 games without Luck. If he had a possible 5 game suspension looming at the time of draft, you don’t take him where you did

People took a risk and lost. I’m not even hating on it, not sure why you’re taking it personal

You bought Marty Bryant for $20 in TDFL. You were IN on him during the auction.

I bid higher than that on Marty B in my home/oldest league.

have also been burned by Jeffery.

Got Kamara for next to nothing though.
