Legit stat line or fluke? Is this a new powerful offense where he needs to be considered a pick up?

Fluke. This has happened before. Smith has had nights where he's looked fantastic. He's also had nights where his dink and dunk passing leads to 200 yards, 0 TDs, and his RB ends up with 4 TDs

Agree with Lester here. He had one of the best games of his life, but he has shown over the years what kind of qb he is. He may have another game or 2 like this, but you will never know when it is. I picked him up last year because he had scored 20+ points against the Raiders some obscene amount of times and he gave me 12 points. He's always been inconsistent when it comes to fantasy.

He has a great oline and a coach who has fully realized the potential of Tyreek Hill, Hunt, and Kelce. Smith is going to ball this year

Just saw that Smith threw for 363 yards in week 1 last year.

Yeah, but Dwayne Allen didn't get his opening day TD for the first time in his career, breaking the Alex Smith jinx!
