Sources: Buccaneers plan to activate WR Chris Godwin off the Physically Unable to Perform list and have him on their 53-man roster to start the season, but only to begin his ramp-up process for games, not to immediately play in them. Godwin still is unlikely to play until October as he continues recovering from the fractured ankle he suffered in Week 7 vs. the Ravens last season. He is expected to start practicing in Week 2, but the team thinks he is right where he should be at this time and is pleased with his recovery.

Sources: #Patriots WR Ja'Lynn Polk will miss the entire 2025 season due to a shoulder injury that requires surgery.

The 2024 second-round pick saw multiple specialists, and surgery was determined to be the best course of action — with the goal of being fully healthy for 2026.

He sucks and the injury is to save face from being cut

I’d think they just cut him. Are the patriots trying to save face?

Could be, pretty embarrassing to admit you screwed up a 2nd round pick that badly

Damn, I wonder what his role will be there. How many touches is he going to take from CMC?

Bill Croskey is going to EAT this season behind the Skins oline.

Conerly Jr. and Tunsil at the tackle spots. Conerly is like a young version of Trent Williams. An athletic monster.

I'm in a league that is about 3/4 Commander fans so Bill and Rodriguez are 100% going to be reached for

Yeah, I don't think he's a threat to CMC. Think SanFran just knows they need a Plan B, especially given all their other RBs on the roster are hurt.

However, this does make it really tough to say who the handcuff to CMC is: Guerendo or Robinson? If you draft CMC, do you just roll without a handcuff for now until we have more info?

I got him in the 9th in my league at #120 so that would be 10th in a 12 man. I think that’s going to be a steal

Same. Him and Higgins from Houston were my last two picks last night.

Yeah, I got him this weekend at 7.10 in an 18 team guillotine and at 11.15 in a 16 teamer. Felt really good about both.

BREAKING: The #Commanders and All-Pro WR Terry McLaurin have agreed to a 3-year extension worth over $96M, multiple sources tell me.

The deal is done and "Scary Terry" gets his well-deserved payday — while Jayden Daniels gets his star receiver back in his arsenal.
