Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith (knee) has returned to practice today.

Despite missing the last two days, Smith has received round-the-clock treatment on his bone bruise injury, according to league sources, and he is pushing to play against the New York Giants.

Of the players on the Chiefs’ injury report, I did not see RB Jerick McKinnon, LT Donovan Smith or WR Kadarius Toney at Saturday practice. All three are trending to be unavailable on Christmas vs. Raiders. Official word soon.

Michael Pittman Jr. starting having concussion like symptoms today. Will not play tomorrow.

Did travel to Atlanta, after independent neurologist cleared him yesterday.

But will not play due to concussion. So is back in protocol starting next week.

Good news/bad news for the #Packers: RB AJ Dillon (broken thumb) will be active, while rising young WR Jayden Reed (toe/chest) is set to be inactive, sources say.

Both were questionable.

Thanks! No Reed could mean a big day for Wicks or Doubs I guess. I will stay away from those though.

Initial outlook is ‘not good’ on #Vikings TE T.J. Hockenson’s knee injury, per source. Team hoping to be surprised by today’s MRI but bracing for damage.

Hockenson put together another Pro Bowl-type season with 95 catches for 960 yards and five TDs.

Raiders RB Josh Jacobs (quad/illness) is out today against the #Chiefs, per source. The team held out hope but he just couldn’t make it.

Jordan Addison is considered week-to-week with an ankle sprain, source said, pending further testing today. That info comes today.

Stefon Diggs (WR – BUF) | Panic Meter: 3

Since week 10, Diggs is WR49. Since then he has just one game with at least 50 yards or 9.0 PPR points. A few WRs with more points than Diggs in that span: Dontayvion Wicks, Quentin Johnston and Tank Dell who has been injured since week 13. After Diggs third consecutive single-digit game, enough is enough. If you’ve made it this far, it hasn’t been because of Diggs. Rip the band-aid off and consider these options:

Rashee Rice (WR – KC): has outscored Diggs in every game since week 12, averaging 18.6 PPG during that span.

Chris Godwin (WR – TB): averaging 16.5 points and has seen at least 11 targets in his last three games.

Yikes. I had no idea it was THAT bad.

It’s not just Diggs, it’s that offense. They’ve completely shifted philosophy from a pass heavy, Josh Allen heavy offense, to a run first and run hard and run often offense. They figured out Josh Allen was the problem

Or they just realized that if you want to win a championship, you have to be able to run the ball.

Potential good news for the #Texans: QB CJ Stroud, in the NFL's concussion protocol, is expected to practice today.

Coach DeMeco Ryans told @StaceyDales on Sunday that Stroud had been in meetings on Friday. "He's definitely making progress." This would be more progress.

Sources: The #Broncos are strongly considering having QB Russell Wilson sit for the final two games, preserving financial flexibility for the offseason.

Wilson has $37M in 2025 salary that vests in March of 2024, and if he suffered a serious injury, it would complicate matters.
