I have the 3 pick in Full PPR. I’m really leaning towards Kupp over Hill. If Kupp practices in full, I might pull the trigger

"Josh Jacobs is expected to report to the Raiders before their season opener in three weeks, multiple league sources have indicated... Josh McDaniels did not have an update on the situation, but he did say Sunday that he believes Jacobs could stand to get some practice time under his belt."

Nothing definitive, but some sourced speculation.

Also - Josh McDaniels on Zamir White: "Zamir has made a lot of progress in every area. He caught the ball last night out of the backfield, he knows who he’s responsible for in protection, he’s chipping and slamming on the edges when he’s responsible to do that to help the tackles. He’s took great care of the football and protected it very well, which is a huge thing for us and our team, and runs downhill. He’s physical."

Zamir could be an okay late round pickup.

Jacobs feels like the dude who comes back and then either reverts back to 3.4 ypc or is dinged up all year on a shitty team.

4.75
3.90
4.02
4.86

Those are his YPC numbers by season.

Per Adam Schefter

quote:

Colts have given All-Pro RB Jonathan Taylor permission to seek a trade, per league sources. Other teams now are weighing whether to make an offer to the Colts and what would be fair value.

Teams weren’t willing to pay free agent RBs. Why would they trade assets and pay for JT? I know he’s good, but so is Dalvin who got a 1 yr $7 million contract which is significantly lower than the Franchise tag JT has with the Colts.

Dalvin is 28. Taylor is 24. All the teams kicking the tires on Dalvin would pay way more to have Taylor.

It has less to do with age and more to do with the second contract

He will get more than Barkley did.

Good news out of the MRI: Sources say there is optimism for Week 1 for Terry McLaurin. More day-to-day than anything, with the scans showing no major injury.

Like Dalvin, Saquon signed a 1 year contract. It was essentially the same as the tag but had a few incentives so he could save face and feel like there was at least a negotiation.

Perhaps some GM out there really likes JT, but based on the market lately I can't see anyone being willing to give up the draft capital the Colts will want and the cap hit that JT wants...especially with him looking like he may be a constant injury risk. If they do, the Colts will look like freaking geniuses when they turn around and sign Hunt for less and gain several draft picks for their rebuild.

ETA: JT's best bet is to catch the eye of an owner like Jerry Jones who can't resist that shiny new toy. Jerry has cap space and a thin backfield, so that's a possibility.

He’s going to get a 2-3 year deal for $12mil-$15mil per year.

Perhaps, and I wouldn't be shocked. I'm just not sure why you're that confident with what the market has shown lately.

The Colts say they want a first rounder, so a team would have to give up a first plus commit to that contract for a RB coming off ankle surgery and with rumors of a bad back. As good as he is, there is no guarantee he will ever again be the RB we saw in 2021.

I'm not saying it won't happen because you only need to convince one team but I don't think teams will be fighting for the opportunity.

I doubt it man. If he was a free agent and healthy MAYBE. Having to give up a first, pay the guy, and pray that he’s still got his burst after injuries I think he basically goes back to the colts.
