Now it’s at the point where every team knows he does that shite and he’s gonna be targeted

Especially with the way the defenders are all punching the ball out now.

They've been saying that they want to get him involved and that he's killing in practice.

Darwin was inactive, I don't know why he's not getting any traction.

quote:

“Right now it’s just a numbers game for him,” said Chiefs running backs coach Deland McCullough. “Last week, the plan was to get him more involved. I think with the number of plays we had, we did have some packages for him, but we just didn’t get an opportunity to get to [them]. But if you watch Darwin in practice, we’ve got to get that guy out there. I’m telling you this guy is fast, he’s explosive. He’s racking up some numbers against our defense as far as what he’s doing on scout team and again, he’s keeping a great attitude. We’re going to continue to work on getting him some snaps in the game.”

Say all that and then make him inactive.

He got a ton of hype during the summer and preseason too. Makes you wonder why he’s not getting out there if the talk is true

Anyone else nervous about Chris Carson? Two more fumbles today but posted the only 100 yard rushing game against the Bucs defense this season. He didn't seem to miss any snaps after the second fumble. But, that could have just been because he was really only used in pass pro after that second fumble.

Carson should have swapped carrying hands on the long fumble, but even then, I don't hold it against him. D White made a freaky athletic play.

I don't remember the first fumble. Regardless, He's looked so strong this season I don't see it impacting his PT going forward.

No. They have no one else and he is near the top of every rush metric for RBs

Carroll said in the presser he knows better on the one he lost. He took on the defender who got low and popped it out

Yeah I don’t think anything will change. He does have a tough schedule but the dude is just a truck.

Tampa has held CMC x2, Kamara, Barkley, and Gurley to combined 125 rush yards. Carson goes for 105. That’s the toughest rush D he will face this year

Playoff schedule is cake too

Yeah Carson is really good. If anything, his run style just leads to more opportunities to fumble. Regardless, Seattle doesn't have any other options to really run between the tackles. Anytime they try to run procise/penny inside its bad.

Carson has been the victim of the some of the most athletic punchouts I've seen this season. I'm glad Carroll recognizes this and doesn't hold it against him. It's not like he's loose with the ball (ahem...Shady). He just has had some defenders make really great plays against him.
