Awesome day of trading. I just finished looking at the transactions for the day and loved it. My take:
Winners:
Giraffe- filled a gap at SS and upgraded his pitching staff without spending much at all.
Redd- added a legit ace in Greinke without having to let a stud go.
Port (this season)- getting Anibal for two guys that won't play this year was a good snag.
Rick (the future)- if he mails it in like honk has done, he will have a great young core of prospects. He wasn't winning this year anyway.
Losers:
Rondo- thought he was able to land a much needed draft pick only to have the trade reversed.
Rick (this season)-duh.
Port (future)- still has a couple of young players, but probably needs a strong draft to be a true contender this year. That will be hard given his current pick situation.
Jury Still Out:
Knat- Seems to want to trade, but hasn't really been that aggressive in terms of doing anything about it.
Geaux-Has holes to fill IMO, but is either blind to them or just chooses to focus on DAT instead. Well see.

I will say this again....I like my team and I know my pitching needs work. I don't want to trade my offense or picks and will address it in the draft or via trade after the draft...
