I'm assuming 50 was proposed because that's about how many were averaged last year. However, last year was a condensed schedule, and more games were being played each week.
45 is probably better this year, at least at my brief look at it.

If i just happen to have guys playing Thursday night I don't want to have to bench them to save games for the wknd. Shouldn't be penalized for having guys playing in the prime time thu night matchups.
I think this out gaming thing was probably more of an issue last season w/ the condensed schedule. Was it ever an problem before?

yeah. it's kind of a weird rule because i think it'll be rare that we hit 50 games.

No its been an issue every year.
The point of a cap is not to make you have to bench your players. Its to prevent someone that already has a game advantage from streaming. Really the cap should be about 45-46 games.

Yes.

Weeks 8 and 21 have the most total NBA games with 110.
Looking at week 8 (Dec 17th-24th), I can hit 52 games.
I think 50 is a good number. And will be hit without streaming a few times this year.

Looks like 50 is too high.
I just did some research, and the most my team can play in the first period (6 days) is 40 games.
The most I can play in the second period (full 7 day week) is 45.

The point of it, in my mind, is to keep a bunch of titty babies from crying.

Did yall switch to an auction league?
Posted on 10/25/12 at 4:26 pm to GynoSandberg
Maybe you can throw together a TD-Regulars auction keeper league. Auction next Monday night?

The only people who gives more than zero fricks about fantasy bball are in this league and DAT. And I guess the Hornetard League.

i think you did honestly.

I DUNNO MAN. i thought about it a lot
first, i'd have had to keep rubio or fareid. neither are bad, but neither are keeper worthy (or strong keepers)
second, we know what love does. his combination of ponits/boards/%s is super-rare. he was a top-5 guy last year and doesn't look to fall out of the top 10 within the next 5 years
davis has 15/10/3 potential in a couple years and may develop solid FT (it's more than likely). you really think he gets to 20/10?

Davis could be a Josh Smith type, as far as fantasy production goes. Love is still more valuable.

you could've traded Love easily. Or rather not traded for.
Love is great, but his elite skill is rebounding. Which is the least important of all quantitative categories. And because of his long range bombing actually doesn't give you great FG percentages as a big man. 45% for a big? not good. .8 blocks? that's like a shitty SF.
blocks is amonst the rarest.
ibaka finished 15th on the player rater basically on blocks.
i think davis is 12 12 3 THIS year. with 50% from the field and close to 75% from the line.
I think you fricked up. I'd rather have Love's replacement and Davis.
