i think you underrate scoring
you can always find blocks, boards, 3s, or steals on the waiver wire. you can typically find guys who'll give you 3-4 assists per game. you can't find scoring
his FG% is mediocre, but his FT% (rate and apg) makes up for it. he doesn't shoot like a big man in either respect. they cancel each other out
i can find another biyambo or chris anderson in free agency and his stats + love's stats will be better than a guy you pair next to davis

Yep. My number one goal heading into the draft was to stock up on scorers.

2 years ago i followed this shitty draft advice saying "never look at scoring" and i thought i'd be ok. when i was short scoring it was fricking impossible to improve upon it until i started dealing guys in 1:2s and shite
i mean durant and love will get 50-55 points, 20 boards, and 3-4 3PT every night, while hitting 85% on FT and shooting 14-16 combined or so
i combined strengths, so that i could go out and try to get other cats like FG%, assists and blocks . now did i do that? i don't know. kirilenko, garnett, and valenciunas wouldn't work on a team without scoring. i'm hoping they give me what i need. did i frick it up? possibly

sure sure. but you had other ways to build your team.
i get the same amount of points as you from kobe and lebron.
i'd rather have AD. rebounds and points are cheap. steals blocks (and AD will still get rebounds) aren't.
you asked. that IMHO

i think you underrate points
we can go down cat for cat
points: love big advantage
blocks: davis big advantage
boards: love
steals: davis
FT: big advangage to love
FG: davis
3PT: big advantage to love
assists: likely going to be equally bad here
love wins that 4-3-1

George is a baller. 25 overall is not bad.

Knat, give me Anthony Davis.
Posted on 10/26/12 at 10:34 pm to PortCityTiger24
I just don't see much upside past 25. Much better chance of him not living up to that draft position. Also I thinks he's been fighting a hip injury this preseason. I'm staying away.

That kid is going to be a stud. I wasn't sure how his offense would project in the NBA but it seems like he is figuring it out pretty quick.
Now if Gordon can just get healthy the Hornets will be fun to watch
