I’ll concede it’s just week 1 and there’s a lot of football to be played, but to say I had shite logic, that’s laughable. My whole point was it was retarded to value CMC as the unanimous 1.02 because of his “supposedly unparalleled FF ceiling” meanwhile Saquon was falling to the 3rd in some leagues when he falls under the exact same classification. I simply told everyone in this thread how Saquon was the best value in the early rounds and I’d be back to say I told y’all so. Through 1 week, I couldn’t have been more correct, let’s see how the rest of the season plays out baw

100% healthy Saquon is better than 100% healthy CMC and you can get Saquon for crazy value late 2nd this year. Saquon at his peak is Rb1 in the league
Based on what ?
Based on week 1 ;)

Idk all that. I was just wondering why you were carrying on about CMC’s injury history and pretending Barkley’s didn’t exist

Do we do this every week?
CMC RB5
Barkley RB17

That still makes it a ridiculous statement.
Based on week 2 ;)

What about a week 3 victory lap? I was up .9 and I had Saquon vs Lamb. RB1 Saquon delivers the W

Also CMC hasn’t had 1 special game thus far, averaging a steady 15.

Is this going to become a weekly thing with you? Show up and sling shite every time Barkley has a good game, but avoid the topic every time he doesn’t?

Not like he had a terrible week 2. If 11.8 is his floor then maybe I should have taken another victory lap week 2. CMC just had 108 yards rushing against the saints and only put up 13.5, only 3 less than his season high of 16.8. It’s almost scary how correct my previous posts were.
Editing to boast in my primary league I have both Saquon and Chubb. RB1 and RB2 thus far this season. Feels good man

What world are you living in
No mention of baker mayfield in your posts

Two straight drafts he’s been the consensus #1 and two straight seasons he’s gotten hurt and ruined his fantasy owners’ season.

maybe take CMC and trade him before his inevitable injury.

I don’t care about that when I know the man is going to get injured and be on my IR slot when the playoffs roll around

McCaffery is sidelined with another lower leg injury. The best of CMC is in the past and I’m not drafting a player I KNOW will get hurt. Not a matter of if, but when

Ignoring any potential injuries that really haven’t happened yet, that car offense is horrendous. That has more to do with cmc not living up to expectations than injuries so far.
Sure you are right but not for the point you made.

Week 3 victory lap? Those never backfire.

Not even 1/5 of the season.

Damn y’all are some buzzkills. If y’all had the RB1 and RB2 through 3 games yall could at least pretend to be a little excited. Even if CMC hasn’t gotten hurt yet, he hasn’t displayed that unparalleled ceiling I heard all about from all those experts. Maybe I was a bit over the place with my arguments but at the end of the day, my main argument was to avoid CMC and that Saquon would be tremendous RB1 value late 2nd/early 3rd. If more of y’all had taken Saquon like I suggested, we might have some more positivity in this thread.

I have McCaffrey, Saquon, Fournette, Jamaal Williams and Jeff Wilson on one team (Brian Robinson too). Chubb, Cook, James Robinson, Breece Hall, Pierce and Mattison on another. I'm doing just fine.
But, for fricks sake, the season has barely even begun. We don't know shite about what's going on yet.

Bruh, you're trying too hard.

Fantasy football owners shouldn't panic when they see Pro Bowl running back Christian McCaffrey listed as a "DNP" on the injury report every Wednesday.
Carolina Panthers head coach Matt Rhule announced that he plans on giving McCaffrey every Wednesday off so he can rest his body.
