I knew there would be people like this. After Jan 6, they'll switch to "they won't let him be inaugurated."

Trump will be declared President Elect, but the Dems are not done. There are still the legal battles and their plan to invoke the14th amendment and not certify the election. Very possibly with KH have to oversee the process. One battle down, but a war still to win.
This won't go well.

was going to say something snarky, but I won't. If you're this pessimistic? Try prayer. It will center your anxiety, and alleviate it. We won. Accept it.
This is why republicans are always playing from behind. Yes he won the election. So let’s celebrate and ignore the fact the dems have filed 2 criminal and god knows how many civil cases against trump in an attempt to stop him. They impeached him twice and put a bullet thru his ear, but yeah now that he won the election it’s all over.

This would be political suicide. Look, I don't trust anything from the Dems. Hopefully the teams of lawyers will do their job and eliminate the cheating from all the elections.

I hope the dems accept the defeat as they should and don’t cry like Trump and his supporters did in 2020.

If Trump actually wins the popular vote, it will be pretty hard for them to marshal any sort of logic why his election should not be certified.

Uhhh Trump lost the popular vote in 20 when he lost and decided to be a very poor loser. He also lost the popular vote in 16 when he won. This is his first popular vote that he won.

I am 99% certain thar Raskin was talking out of his arse and telling a group of donors what they wanted to hear. I think right now they are too stunned to throw a tantrum. I think these wanna be elites got the message loud and clear.

I would argue fretting over all this shite, versus just ignoring it all and hitting the ground running is why “republicans are always playing from behind.”
Time to act like we have the national mandate we have.

Only if they want to lose again in midterms.
That would put them in a deeper hole….. Probably not ever, but a political historian would have to tell me when congress was more lopsided.

overturning an election sounds kinda insurectionny to me.
