Strange take but I’m starting to think having 2020 stolen was a good thing.

Trump admittedly surrounded himself with some weak people in 2016. Was his cabinet going to be much better had he won in 2020? Maybe but it’s not going to be anything compared to the team he has built for 2024. Even if they hadn’t stole it and he had won the EC, would he had won the popular vote. Probably not. The last 4 years sucked but the result is we get Trump back with a JD Vance heir apparent. The events of the past 4 years translated into Elon Musk buying twitter. Trump/Vance are about to assemble the Avengers, plus with control of house and senate and Supreme Court along with a public mandate due to potential popular vote victory, he can actually really drain the swamp this time and make changes that will set back the progressives by decades. I think he will be able to be more impactful now then he would have been with victory in 2020 and the party itself will be in better position to keep it going after his term is up. God works in mysterious ways.

Editing to agree to some very good responses. Yeah there was some really bad shite that happened the past 4 years and pain caused to families that I wouldn’t wish upon my worst enemy. So I’ll just say that despite all the shite the past 4 years, he had been given a golden opportunity to really make impactful changes so he better not duck it up!!!!!
