Not a chance. 2004-2020 were all blowouts in favor of Bush, McCain, Romney, Trump even with liberal Nashville and Memphis. And Gore lost there by 3.9% in 2000 even with it being his home state.

95 counties in TN. 92 are 100% reliably red.

2 are reliably blue: Davidson (Nashville), and Shelby (Memphis)

1 small county that will flip/flop sometimes - Haywood.

I dont want to get banned but just look at the demographics of Haywood County and you’ll figure it out.

ETA: Posted before reading all initial replies before mine. TN is about as red as it gets and no way in hell it’s a swing state in 8 years.

We just moved from Brentwood to Texas, but while we lived there I would say the majority of the Cali transplants I met, mostly through our kids baseball, were the good ones. I can only think of 1 that was more than likely a democrat and we had at least 6 kids on the team from Cali.

Davidson County, which is Nashville, has always been blue.
Every other county in the metro area is deep red. I live in Williamson county, immediately south of nadhville

Well its traditionally republican, but now that its been bombarded by Californians that have voted themselves into no longer being able to live there. They now moved to a replubican cities so they can start voting to make it unlivable also, long answer is its more up in the air than its been in the past.

Dems born and raised here are a lot more moderate than the ones coming from California. You go 15 mins south into Brentwood and it's MAGA central. That said, I did my part converting 1 dem voter into a Trump voter. Kamala is too extreme for him.

Nashville and Memphrica suck. The rest of Tennessee will do its duty.

Nashville is LA lite. The money is in country so all the music scene relocated here.

3 blue counties (metro shitholes) everywhere else red. TN is hard R’s

Yeah, we had a couple people move to our street (we live in Franklin) from CA, both big Trump people. I think most of the people moving here from out there, at least in the burbs, are conservatives wanting to live in a conservative area and not a liberal hell hole

East Memphis and the rest of Shelby County do their part. There are just too many non-white people in the county for it to go red. If the rest of the county got what they wanted, forming a new county that included everywhere that isn't Memphis proper, Memphis would turn into a barren wasteland worse than Detroit quickly. I honestly hate it having grown up there, but the city makes sure to never fix their problems because their government refuses to do what's necessary.
