I’m curious what the boards consensus is on this.

Never heard his name until I read it on the machine.

Call me crazy. But I don’t like it when a politician completely flip flops on the issue of the government being able to spy on me at will.

I respect that, but from the “team sport” perspective, you’re just giving the seat to a Democrat who will do the same thing instead of a speaker who Trump can press his thumb on if push came to shove.

He sold his team out for Ukraine, and to approve building a new fbi headquarters. Mike Johnson is a spineless weasel

That would be extra embarrassing if he lost to that guy then

I fully expect Johnson to win, but I’d like him to sweat a little at least.

I think he sweeps the swing states so it probably won’t.

My bad, I just saw he’s in a deeply red district, please protest vote away and screw that guy. How do your primaries work in these districts where you can have multiple people in the party running in the GE?

Yeah pretty big blunder on my end to not realize the situation. Sounds like another Boehner/McCarthy/Ryan stooge.

He wants every state to have their own f22. Also every state to have their own iron dome.

Can you actually name a single benefit Johnson has brought to LA so far by virtue of him being speaker?

Louisiana has what’s called a jungle primary and if no candidate gets 50% plus 1 vote it becomes a runoff of the top two regardless of party
