You always notice, as much as the democratic urban areas like to make fun of conservative rural areas, it's the conservative rural areas that have their sh*t together. It's always the places like Miami, Philly, Northern Virginia, etc. that come in last.

Are they simply incapable of counting accurately? Or do they intentionally keep their vote delayed so it always come down to them? Even worse, do they do it to see how many votes they need to make up and how many dead people they need to have conveniently vote Democratic?

Was just talking about this very thing with a friend. Probably has to do with the fact that they are often more heavily populated, but it's still fishy.

Vote tampering jokes aside, most Dem counties are urban.

Hell of a lot easier to finalize on polls of 3k than 50k

You ever sat in the drive thru of a fast food restaurant late at night and waited for 20 minutes... only to have your order delivered incorrectly? That's why.

This might have been true 20 years ago, but with technology now and the votes being counted electronically population size should have no bearing on how fast a county reports their results. It's not like they're counting them manually.
