Trump needs to give blacks, hispanics, women, men, etc... of all races a legitimate reason to support him next time. Do what he said he would do. Invest in inner cities schools, invest in inner city infrastructure, and bring jobs and hope for families back. Don't care how or why some of the inner cities have ended up the way they are... does not matter at this point... time to reach a hand out and give them progress through something other than another social program. Social programs just don't work very well.
"Will blacks vote for a Republican ?" should not be a legitimate question next election. They ought to have legitimate choices in both parties. We have a great shot to break the alliance between blacks and democrats that has been based on largely false promises, little results, and claims that Repubs are racist by the Dems.
Actions speak much louder than false promises and simple words. Give them a reason to support Republicans by making positive changes in those communities.
Make it happen President Trump.

Why dont these groups want to make America great again? There was no reason to support Hillary unless they swallowed the BS spewed by the media about Trump. He's never been racist, was just painted that way when he ran for the repub ticket, because thats what won for Obama. They were hoping the sexist label would do the same for Hillary.
Im just glad we wont have to listen to some feminist agenda for the next 4 years the way we've had to listen to fake racism the last 8.

SMH ... perhaps urban poors should try proper parenting.

50 years of media fed bullshite about Republicans. That's why. You are aware that a lot of blacks voted for Trump also this time?
Some of them want change and turned their backs on the Dems... they are giving him a chance.

I think a lot of it is how the money is invested and how above board things are and how much of that money is going where they claim. That being said navy is right there is a parenting issue and a culture issue in a lot of inner city urban areas and unfortunately that's a hard issue to tackle

They did, but 88% decided to go with the devil.

Fine ... but his only obligation is to provide OPPORTUNITY.
It is THEIR RESPONSIBILITY to accept the HARD WORK that comes with pursuit of opportunities and success.
If Trump is supposed to give them free shite ... then what fricking difference does it make? (to what we have now)

I think the first thing Trump should do is implement enterprise zones in these inner city neighborhoods.
For example a 10 year reprieve from corporate taxes for new and expanding businesses located in that area.
Once the businesses start to flow in it will subsequently be easy to build infrastructure projects like road and bridge upgrades.
If this gets done though, don't get mad when these area become gentrified.

You are right. We shouldn't do anything at all. They should have learned their lesson already. They are hopeless.
Let's just focus on stuff that matters. Probably no way that blacks revert to voting almost entirely democrat if Trump doesn't do what he promised.
There you go...

I agree with this. Basically companies like Walmart hold cities hostage for deals like this by threatening to open up outside city limits if they don't get them.

I like this idea. The surplus of cash would also allow hopefully employers to reward the hard workers who are really trying to get ahead and bring their standard of living up and inspire the younger generation coming up and show them that there is hope and there are now jobs for you that you can raise a family on that are much more available in their community and area which can allow them to continue a cycle of growth and prosper improving the communities they live in. Very good idea sir I wish I had more up votes to give you

And what would you do differently? We keep throwing tax payer dollars at a problem with no results. Do you keep investing in the same product without a net positive return? If so, I would hate to see your retirement plan.

So we should do more of the same? Don't we already spend more per student than just about any country in the world?

I think the one thing we know is that generally social programs don't do shite. Therefore... free shite (social programs).. is not what I am talking about. This doesn't do anything.
Incentivizing private businesses to go to inner cities. For example.. the U.S. places billions of dollars in contracts per year. What if 10% of these contracts were given to companies located in inner cities? Companies would relocate their in droves. This is the kind of stuff I am talking about. Local businesses, local jobs, lower the local unemployment.
Not advocating giving anything away. No reason to.. that doesn't work.

Not at all. Doing the same stuff would be insane. That stuff doesn't work. Time to think outside the box and get businesses to move back into these areas.
Some of the most powerful tools in our arsenal don't require taxpayer dollars. We can spend a lot less and get a lot better results.

The problem as always is a poor educational system.
You can't bring in jobs without having a trained workforce.

I personally am not confident that any kind of focused Trump attempt to "win over" the AA community would bear any discernible favorable results. This would be a waste of precious time and precious resources. That ship has sailed. The AA community, as a whole, will never stop being owned by the Democrat Party. They have no desire to belong to any other Master at this point in history.
This has been true for many decades now. They have demonstrated completely and repeatedly that the vast majority of them do not crave freedom of opportunity. They believe that they need a Government that picks winners and losers and they believe that they can win only if that Govt picks them to win.

I'm not sure it's the system as much as the people in the system. Education is just not a priority to most of the minority.
