Been listening to alot of King Diamond lately . The guitar work just never gets old .So, thought it would be a good time to share my rankings of all of KD's studio releases LP ---( i am not including his newest release 2021 The Institute bc have not heard anything from it yet)Here we go!!!!!
12-Abigail II-The Revenge
11-Voodoo
10-The Graveyard
9-The Spiders Lullabye
8-Give me your soul....Please
7-House of God
6-The Puppet Master
5-Abigail
4-Fatal Portrait
3-Conspiracy
2-Them
1-The EYE
( very hard to rank as every album is solid at a minimum)
So anybody who is a King fan would like to see
how you would rank them . This is a tough one with 12 studio albums

I love King Diamond. I find it hilarious that he lives in a normal subdivision in Frisco, TX. When Metallica headlined OzzFest at the MLS soccer stadium in Frisco back in 2007 they brought him out to sing the Mercyful Fate medley that they did on Garage Inc & he was in full makeup & costume. It was incredible. All the women there who had never heard of him were so confused about what was going on.

I hate the mother fricker. I had tickets to see him in New Orleans on the Abigail tour. The stage was set and Flotsam, the opening act came out. After an hour they announced they were going to keep playing because King was not coming out. He never showed for the gig. I got to watch over two hours of Flotsam playing almost all of their first two albums, which was cool, but I paid to see King Diamond.
The second time was a year later, probably touring for Them and he pulled the same stunt, except Cathedral was opening and only had a 45 minute set perpared. The place rioted and everyone went out in the street to attack his tour bus. Both times I heard he was too busy messing with voodoo shite to come play. I haven't attempted to see him again after that bullshite.
1. Abigail
2. Fatal Portrait
3. frick him, not wasting any more of my money on that a-hole.

More likely he was on the toilet with stomach problems

Dang ..thats some bad luck .I can certainly understand why you would want to punch him in the face . I saw King twice "Them" tour and "The Eye " tour ...Both times the show was great .

My faves are Abigail (studio and live versions), Them and Conspiracy in no particular order. Longtime good friend David Harbour, former bassist for King Diamond, plus Tony MacAlpine and Chastain, uses my in-house-wound Coil Shack J-5 pickups.

I really only know the Welcome Home Grandma song, which I love. The Mercyful Fate songs on Garage Inc. are good too.
However, his voice is a bit much for me. Didn't realize he had any hardcore fans like this.
