This thread makes me sad how awesome Disney used to be and how often they cranked out massive hits everyone just loved rather than sucking existing franchises they purchased dry or deciding they were going to let contemporary politics influence their art.

I have to give some love to Princess and the Frog.
For years I hated the Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast songs. Mainly because I was in the high school band when these movies came out, and the band director was convinced by some girls in the band to start playing these songs. The drum parts sucked, and I felt silly playing "Be Our Guest" at a football game.
